Popis: An efficient method for the synthesis of isomerically pure δ-chloro-γ-vinylketones was developed on the basis of monoalkylation of β-ketoesters with the individual isomers of 1,3-dichloropropene and the subsequent decarbalkoxylation of the resulting chlorovinyl derivatives under optimized Krapcho decarboxylation conditions.
