Popis: | In this presentation we will show novel designs to perform wide band sensing of light involving an array of nano structures and which are based upon enhanced conversion of incoming light into mechanical vibrations of the nano structures. We will discuss how such sensor can also be used as a photonic nano-transistor. In the second part of the talk we will present unique design of plasmonic nano-antennas having higher light to plasmons conversion efficiency and which are used for realizing wireless communication channels as a replacement for an existing interconnects of processing chips as well as for realization of plasmonic logic gates and transistors. A derivative of this technology is also used to perform secondary electrons imaging at the nano-scale. |
