Popis: The paper considers the issue of increasing the intensity of diffracted light to higher orders upon diffraction by an amplitude transmission grating. The issue of optimizing the topology of a high-order diffraction grating by computer simulation methods is considered. The optimum value of the parameters of the strokes was found for the successful use of the +4 diffraction order for the analysis of the spectra of optical radiation.
