Popis: | 1. The properties qf two rubbers for artificial heart valves were compared. It was shown that in the case of biaxial stretching the rubber containing natural rubber is less rigid and strong and has a greater ultimate deformation. 2. A method of biaxial stretching tests of elastic sheet materials by punching with a toroidal punch was developed and substantiated. The advantage of the method, as compared to punching with a spherical punch and inflation of a membrane, is the presence of a developed zone of uniform biaxial deformations. The values of the mechanical characteristics determined by the new method are close to those obtained on inflating membranes. 3. It was shown that structural changes in transparent film materials can be detected at an early stage on the basis of the change in light transmission. |
