Popis: In the modern petroleum industry it is vital to provide reliability and proper operation of transmitting pipelines, which are often subjected to various defects including volumetric surface defects (VSDs) arisen as a result of corrosion or erosion. In this, we consider a problem of computer simulation of pipeline fragment subjected to two VSDs and repaired by setting a composite wrap of a special structure. The algorithm of automatic finite-element model building based on the initial problem parameters is developed. The computational experiments on the influence of different parameters of the problem on a stress strain state of the pipe are conducted and discussed.
