Popis: In an eLearning environment learning objects are the digital instructional resources. The learning object plays an important role in learning and, they are reusable, shareable. In eLearning environment instructor's absence becomes painful when learning objects are not able to meet learner's expectations. Learning objects becomes meaningful and understandable when they possess certain characteristics like interactivity, concise information, embedded voice, visuals embedded with text, text embedded with voice and so on. To develop interactive and engaging learning objects several instructional design theories and models are used. Success of personalized eLearning systems also depends on the learning objects that are delivered to learners in an eLearning environment. Thus, there is a need to develop personalized learning objects. The paper highlights the results of effectiveness of learning objects in terms of preferred match and interactivity included in the learning objects.
