Popis: | The thermodynamics at low temperatures of an Ising spin system with random ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic bonds is considered. It is shown that the replica method leads to expansions for the free energy and correlation functions in terms of the amount of frustration. At low temperatures in two dimensions the Toulouse sum over minimal strings is obtained. An estimate for the entropy at zero temperature and equally probable ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic bonds is obtained. |
