Popis: | Information on the Web can be reached using different paths. Search engines, directories, bookmarks are usual methods to access information but they don't take into account the "natural" way by which content is organized in the Web: linking. Documents with related information often refer to each other, building Web domains with a common subject.Given the actual linking model of the Web the creation of such domains is fully delegated to the authors of each single document, which often results in sub-optimal coverage of the subject.XLinkProxy combines external links databases, a filtering proxy, dynamic HTML, XLink and XPointer to provide a solution that encompasses the limitations of the current linking model allowing the definition of multidestination custom links that can be associated to any HTML or XML document published on the Web. |
