Popis:	1. An investigation on the determination of the hardness in water according to CLARK was carried out with a soap solution of sodium stearate. The same influences are regarded as before when using an oleate soap solution. 2. The results of the stearate soap are compared with those of the oleate soap. It is proved that with oleate soap better results will be obtained. 3. An instruction is given how to carry out the determination as accurate as possible. It Keeps out several sources of errors usually made, especially those at very low degrees of hardness.
