Popis: | The conducting polymer films with metal particles incorporated into the film by electrodeposition have excellent properties in regard to various electrode reactions in fuel cell applications. This communication presents some new results concerning the electrooxidation of d -glucose at modified platinum electrodes dispersed in polypyrrole film in neutral media. The addition of lead, tin, bismuth, and ruthenium to platinum causes the modification of electrocatalytic behavior of the electrode. The modification of the electrode surface is one means of minimizing poisoning effect, increasing the electrode activity. This reaction has great deal of interest in view of its applications on detection systems (glucose sensor), fuel cells (pacemakers) and electroorganic synthesis. |
