Popis: | The work considers the influence of various types of equilibrium defects on photovoltaic and diffusion fields and on the band gap of nominally pure and zinc-doped lithium niobate crystals. Concentrations of OH groups and point defects in the NbLi cationic sublattice (the deepest electron traps) and the Li/Nb ratio are calculated from the IR absorption spectra to estimate their contributions to proton conductivity. The IR absorption spectra reveal a correlation between the concentration of NbLi defect and the intensity of bands at ~3480 cm–1. |
