Popis: | Close reading of the extant text brings to light two terminological patterns seemingly based on the deliberate distribution of the two roots good and make. In two significant statement, God saw all that he had made, and it was very good (1 : 31) and it is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him (2 : 18), the two terms good and make occur the seventh and twelfth time in Genesis respectively. Because of the double overlapping of the two terms we might presume that the Endgestalt of the first chapters of Genesis - whatever their oral and/or written pre-history may have been - has been carefully composed by its ancient author. |
