Popis: | 1. Direct investigations of deuterium diffusion through a Pd membrane using an in-depth nuclear profiling method under conditions for which a two-phase region should exist showed that the creation and dimensions of the β phase region depends on the surface quality. 2. The development of a direct α-β phase transition in the D-Pd system is accompanied by the motion of an almost plane α-phase front, while for the reverse β-α transition, a stretching of the interphase boundary was observed. 3. For a phase transition in the membrane, the curve of diffusion flow through the membrane is no longer monotonic. For the reverse β-α transition, which was initiated by heating, an anomalous temperature dependence was observed for the deuterium flow. 4. The developed kinetic model for deuterium diffusion throught a two-phase region of the D-Pd system showed qualitative agreement with experiment. |
