A new way of representing the architecture of the obstacle detection unit of an unmanned shunting locomotive is presented. The novelty of the work lies in the composition of sensors with the necessary characteristics, developed software that is ready to undergo safety certification, a method for identifying and classifying targets and obstacles, as well as sensor data fusion. The proposed system architecture, together with the developed software, makes it possible to obtain reliable detection of obstacles in the visibility zone in the direction of travel without the participation of a shunting locomotive driver at the Luzhskaya marshaling yard. |
