| Popis: | Takayasu’s arteritis (TA) is a chronic large-vessel inflammation of unknown etiology that mainly affects the aorta and its major branches. Coronary involvement is not uncommon (9%-11% of cases). Coronary artery involvement consists mostly of stenosis at the coronary ostia. We report the case of a 42-year-old lady who presented with acute inferior wall MI. although our patient is older than 40 years at the time of presentation, the diagnosis has been confirmed by anatomic imaging. |
