| Popis: | Dehydrogenation by IBX/p-TsOH is applied to the conversion of 3-benzoyl propionates/propionamides to 3-benzoyl acrylates/acrylamides in moderate to excellent yields. The reaction time for the dehydrogenation of 3-benzoyl propionamides was remarkably shorter than that for the dehydrogenation of esters. |
