We provide in this paper a solar absorption chiller for cooling storage foods in the south of Tunisia. An overview of these machines is presented as well as the simulation results of an absorption refrigerator. The sun ensures the driven heat of the cycle. According to the operating conditions of the machine, a vacuum tube collector is chosen for this application. It is presented and designed for a storage cold room of 45m3. |
