Popis: | The hypothesis of the connection between the formation of ions in a flame and the nature of a chemical combustion process was advanced in [i] and demonstrated in [2-6], At the present time, the nonthermal, i.e., chemical nature of the ionization in hydrocarbon flames has been confirmed by a large number of experiments; it is generally accepted and, in general features, its mechanism has been established. In accordance with the existing concepts, ionization arises mainly as the result of the following bimolecular stages of chain chemical reactions [7, 8] |
