Popis: | An improved ASV-titration technique has been developed for estimating the complexation capacity of natural waters. In order to accomodate the slow kinetics of formation of certain complexes in water, an equilibration period of at least 24 hours is recommended. The use of copper as reference metal is recommended to obtain novel conservative estimates of complexation capacities. The method has been successfully applied to quantify complexation capacities of laboratory tap water and river waters. |
