Popis: | Generally, a composite is a monolithic material made from a combination of more than one dissimilar constituent metals that attain an improved superior material with distinct characteristics. Consumption of Metal Matrix Composites is thriving in today’s sustainable world. The manufacturing of composites via stir casting route is the most economical and eases process on which various researchers are focusing. Many research works carried out by many researchers in various production techniques of MMCs, which has decreased their cost to a nominal level as compared to some other type of casting process. Mostly, Properties and characteristics of such MMCs material may depend upon many of the process parameters of stir casting route and proper selection of base matrix, wt.% of reinforcements and reinforcement particle grain size. This article tries to present a widespread study on the AMCs manufactured through a most economical method of liquid state stir casting route. |
