A review of the Afrotropical species of Bombylella Greathead (1995) (Diptera: Bombyliidae)

Popis:	The Afrotropical species of the genus Bombylella Greathead are reviewed. Bombylius fuscilobus Bezzi, omitted earlier, is added making a total of 19 nominal species. Bombylella argyroloma (Bowden) is shown to be a synonym of B. argentata (Fabricius), likewise B. lugens (Bezzi) and B. melanoloma (Hesse) are shown to be synonyms of B. plorans (Bezzi). B. kilimanjarica (Speiser) is redescribed from the holotype and diagnoses are given for the other 16 valid species and a key to species is provided.
