Popis:	Well-differentiated thyroid cancer is the most common malignancy arising in the thyroid gland, but its optimal management remains controversial: surgical resection and its extent provokes discussion [1, 2], but most authors agree that some type of thyroidectomy is appropriate if possible as the initial management. Radioiodine is also frequently used, either as adjuvant therapy or primary treatment modality for patients with systemic disease [3].
