Popis: This study investigates how increasing familiarity through real-life exposure affects the neural processing of personally familiar faces at both visual (as represented in the N250 familiarity effect) and integrational processing stages (SFE). Students will be tested three times – approximately one month, five months, and nine months after the start of the academic year - with images of a fellow student they have first met at Durham University at the beginning of the year and who is a flatmate or a new friend.
