Popis: | The composition, morphology, and distribution of carbonitride phases in slabs microalloyed with niobium (0.04%) and titanium (0.002 and 0.022%) are investigated. In steel slabs with Nb + 0.022% Ti, the carbonitride phase in the axial zone is distributed more uniformly and the particles take the form of six-pointed stars. In steel slabs with Nb + 0.002% Ti, there are stronger liquation processes leading to the formation of extended grain-boundary carbonitrides. |
