Popis: | Indomethacin exerted its anti-inflammatory action in the carrageenan paw edema model without producing an alteration in the hematocrit and without exerting an irritant effect in the peritoneal cavity. Aspirin was anti-inflammatory and irritant but it did not result in hemoconcentration. Amino acid esters and esters of acetic acid inhibited the carrageenan paw edema but they were irritant and altered the hematocrit, and so were not typical anti-inflammatory drugs. |
