Popis: 1. Block stepped loading, composed in accordance with the function of the distribution density of the extrema of the systematized random process but disregarding the interaction between the amplitudes of different block steps, does not ensure identical crack growth rates in block and initial random loading. 2. The crack growth rate in random stationary loading processes greatly depends on S(ΔK), M(σn), and xn: it increases with an increase of S(K) and M(σn) and decreases with an increase of the degree of nonregularity (band width) of the process. 3. For the wide-banded loading processes the parameters of the cyclic cracking resistance diagram should be determined from the results of tests on specimens in random loading at the given values of M(σn), xn, and the boundaries of truncation of the extrema ±(2.8–3)S(σn). At 0.85 ≤ xn ≤ 1.0 the process is similar to the narrow-banded process and the characteristics of the cyclic cracking resistance diagram can be obtained in “statistically equivalent” harmonic loading of the specimens.
