This project seeks to examine intention-barrier gaps to participate in UK climate activism using a nationally representative survey of UK adults. The following research questions will be investigated: 1) How can intentions to take collective environmental action be translated into engagement with an activist group (Extinction Rebellion i.e., XR)? 2) How do intentions to take collective environmental action relate to different categories of collective action? 3) What factors predict social identification with XR? |
