Popis: | The usefulness of two diffusion models of differing complexity has been examined in the case of hydrothermal aging of a unidirectional glass fibre reinforced epoxy composite. It has been shown that water absorption in this material under immersion conditions cannot be explained on the basis of simple single-free-phase diffusion into the resin and that a more complex description is needed. |
