Structure and properties of homo- and copolyamide fibres containing diphenyloxide links

Popis:	X-ray structure analysis has been used to study oriented fibres made from aromatic polyamides and random copolyamides with diphenyloxide links. Specific features of the structural organization of these fibres has been revealed, comprising the presence of a high degree of ordering of the chain link along the axis of orientation and defective packing of the macromolecules in the transverse direction. The effect was found that the random copolyamides were able to undergo crystallization over the entire range of concentration of the second comonomer. The details of the structure-formation processes in the fibres during their orientation and the effect of structure on fibre properties have been discussed.
