Popis: The purpose of this study is to identify the differences in players’ movements depending on the situations that occur during hockey games. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, firstly, 16 Korean women’s hockey players who participated in the FIH Women’s Series Finals were collected. Secondly, the hockey experts’ meeting defined the four conditions of the game and classified the conditions to verify the differences. According to the result of this study, the average number of attacks in hockey games was 120.8 times in offensive situation, 120.2 times in defensive situation, 78.8 times in offensive situation after the count-attacks and 77.8 times in defensive situation after the count-attacks. Second, the difference in travel distance by segment according to the busy conditions was shown to be the most active in both bands 1 and 5, and there was no statistically significant differences with band 6. Thirdly, in acceleration by section, the band 1 to band 3, both the distance and the number of times were higher. Fourthly, in deceleration by segment, both the distance and the number of times were higher in the band 1 to band 3. Thus, it is estimated that coaches would be used as useful information in establishing training strategies and strength settings in the field.
