Popis: The two little-known coffins in the Egyptian collection of the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, USA, have recently been the subjects of scholarly research. The present article offers a detailed description of the decorative scheme of the coffins and the subsequent re-dating and provenance attribution based on iconography and design. The article also includes a few notes on each of the deceased’s names and titles, an overview of the inscriptions, and a brief examination of the materials and construction methods.
