Popis: | In this paper the design of a circularly polarized unit-cell for ku-band transmit array applications is presented. The designed unit-cell employs three layers of metallic structures which are printed on two substrates and there is no air gap or foam layer between them. The presented unit-cell has a compact structure while providing a full transmission phase rang of 360 degree through its rotation along its normal axes. The transmission coefficient is less than 0.1 dB for frequency range of 16-16.5 GHz. The proposed unit cell is utilized to form a transmit array which is capable of radiating vortex beam. The simulation results for designed transmit array verifies the fine performance of the presented unit-cell. |
