Popis: Although the evaluations are made on the policies applying specifically to Montgomery County, some general conclusions may be made regarding the application of the policies and their probable effects in any area. An overriding interaction, which is evident at this point, is that generally the acquisition of additional suitable shelter space increases the advantages of assignment planning and decreases the advantages of overcrowding. Table 3 presents these general conclusions in the form of a binary good or bad. Also presented with the conclusions are several brief statements regarding the decisions and considerations as they are now understood. In some cases, general knowledge is not sufficient to support a conclusion; this is to be expected in initial studies of this nature. However, it is felt that these conclusions serve a heuristic purpose and may be a foundation for more universal policy evaluation.
