Popis:	A rare example of phase transitions within Th-based MOFs is reported, relevant for nuclear energy and waste management. Further investigations into phase transitions in isostructural frameworks (Zr, Hf, Ce) provide a comparison of different hexanuclear clusters' stabilities.
