Popis: | Direction of arrival estimation has a wide range of applications, both military and commercial, and the search for low complexity methods with high accuracy is an important research area. Many of the well-known methods rely on time averaging of received data to acquire the covariance matrix, essential in the estimation method. Some methods depend on single snapshot in time (single symbol) to generate this matrix. In this paper we present a low complexity single snapshot method to obtain the covariance matrix by averaging the data over space instead of time. The simulation results show that the proposed method is moderate in both complexity and accuracy. |
