Popis: An olfactometer was used to examine cues by which females of the parasitoid Spalangia endius Walker locate pupae of the house fly, Musca domestica L. The parasitoid was attracted to various larval house fly media. Medium containing or having contained house fly larvae was more attractive than host-free medium. House fly pupae were not attractive. A larval density of 25 house fly larvae per 100 g of medium was required to elicit a significant response by parasitoids in the olfactometer.
