It will be argued that this ‘hidden’ challenge is in part the cause of the practical and organisational challenges that the subject faces. It will be argued that until this challenge is overcome, progress towards clarication about what should be taught how, and who is best positioned to provide this cannot fully be resolved. It is from an educational perspective that this chapter is written and from this ‘point of view it may not matter so much what is taught but how it is taught’ (Wright, 2002: 38). |
