Popis:	This paper first examines the emerging efforts at economic governance of data, presenting their useful points as well as limitations. The latter arise largely from the reluctance of current efforts to go beyond exclusively individualist, market and private property frameworks. In its second part, the paper argues a community and commons based approach to economic governance of data, within which various kinds of private claims and rights to data can be framed
