Popis: Since Darwin published Origin of Species, the concept of evolution was the center of modern biology and educated in public schools. In Korea, numerous studies were conducted how to teach the concept of evolution at from primary to high schools, and how to evaluate the education results. However, the argument between evolutionist and antievolutionist were lasted until now, especially in U.S.A. and Korea, and recently, many propaganda were provided by antievolutionist including the public schools. Therefore, in this study, to prepare the plausible contents for the education of evolution, 1) the degree and timing of understanding of evolution/antievolution, 2) the attitude about the evolution/creationism, 3) the degree of perception about the basic information of evolution/creationism, and 4) the conflict between the evolutionary understanding and religious faith were surveyed with high school students. As the results, students understand the concept of evolution as the scientific truth more than those of creationism. The students who understand the concept of creationism learned prior to public education system, however, were mixed up between the evolutionary understanding and religious faith. On the other hand, students who take in the concept of evolution as the scientific truth were consistently understand the basic information about evolution. Therefore, for the further proper evolution education, 1) the re-understand about the evolution itself, suggested by Dobzhansky or Mayr, 2) the various education program applicable to the public schools available in short time, and 3) the proper education methods about Biology itself and the student believe the creationism were reconsidered.
