Popis: | In our country, the management of problems of youth and the state's treatment of young people have always had a specific character that reflected the characteristics of the social-political structure of society. Up until the beginning of the 1990s, state functions designed to regulate young people's life activity were performed by the Komsomol. Considering that more than 90 percent of young people were members of the Komsomol, it was a structure for total influence on youth. It had a number of essential "advantages" from the standpoint of social control. In particular, it had centralized administration, a rigid "vertical" structure, and primary organizations in practically all institutions, enterprises, and educational institutions. |
