Designed for a taxi company, this automatic vehicle monitoring system with GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver is intended to improve taxi allocation efficiency. The main purpose of this system is to locate the accurate vehicle position. We developed an intelligent mobility enhancement system which provides quick dispatch (without waiting), safety and composure for driver, high efficiency and low cost of management for the taxi company. We report the outline of the developed system and the use of new technologies in this paper. |
