Popis:	Since the first publication of gluteal fat augmentation, vacuum-assisted liposuction (VAL) continues to be used for fat harvesting due to its effectiveness and predictability. A vacuum pump is connected to an intermediary glass container that will store and decant the lipoaspirate to be grafted. Its pressure can be lowered down to a level that allows to harvest fat without causing excessive tissue and cell damage. Fat grafting is then performed using syringes.
