General concepts of teleoperated systems

Popis: This paper provides basic survey of teleoperated robotic systems and their characteristics. The aim of the paper is not to describe such robotic systems in details, but to provide basic information, which must be regarded during the design of such robot. Paper is focused on general description of functionality and characteristics of teleoperated robots. Especially safe issues are highlighted, because such robots suffers from the involvement of humans in the control scheme.
