Popis: Melanoma is capable of exceptional phenotypic diversity, and mimickers include reactive processes and tumours from every lineage. Ancillary immunohistochemical studies are of critical importance, but must be interpreted in conjunction with clinical history and histomorphology. The purpose of this review is to discuss the histologic differential diagnosis of thick melanoma.
