Popis: Synthesized functionalized coordination polymers (FCPs) have numerous applications associated with the polymers, such as liquid chromatography separation, biomedical imaging, drug delivery, gas storage and separation, magnetism, heterogeneous catalysis, catalysis, and chemical sensing. Researchers have found that antibacterial coordination polymer hydrogels show very good antibacterial activity when compared to silver nitrate against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including multidrug-resistant bacteria. Similarly, FCPs show excellent performance in drug delivery biomedical sciences, including theranostics. This chapter contains a discussion about various synthesized FCPs and applications in the biomedical field.
