Popis: | Correlation between the mechanical properties of porous materials obtained with use of a pore-forming agent, and the pore structures has been studied. It was shown that the larger the pores, the higher the bending strength and elastic modulus. The curve of mechanica properties versus porosity is S-shaped. A theoretical equation has been derived for this curve. The region of the bend in the S curve was established to correspond to the phase transition of the metallic claster from a quasi-three-dimensional to a quasi-two-dimensional structure. |
