The thermochromic materials that exhibit a reversible change in the color are an attractive class for advanced applications such as smart windows, sensors and printing technologies. In this context, the current chapter introduces these thermochromic composite materials, from their classification to their applications in many industrial fields, passing by the most used methods to synthesize and manufacture thermochromic composite and nanocomposite materials in which their properties are also discussed in order to emphasize their potential. |
