Popis: Replacement of the function X = −NH2 with −OH in the 5X-pyrimidine axial ligand of the 2D Hofmann polymer {FeII(Lax)2[MII(CN)4]}n (MII = Pt, Pd) enhances guest uptake and enables a wide range of one, two and three stepped spin crossover behaviours.
