Popis: Twenty of 40 MMPI items worded in “all-or-none” style were found to differentiate high-scorers and low-scorers on the MMPI Sc scale. The discrimination does not appear to be a function of other psychopathological variables, gross intellectual differences, or chance clustering of items. The possibility of “cognitive set” should be considered as a variable influencing test responding behavior.
