Popis: Dielectric breakdown of gaseous helium has been studied over the temperature range 4·2–300 K for spacings between electrodes from 5 to 80 mm. A particular study on dielectric breakdown of supercritical helium has been made over the pressure range 2·5–10 bars (× 10 5 N/m 2 ).
